Beyond Experiences!

Yea! I knew I’ve passed! Really I am confident that I’ve done my part in this Second Grading Period in ICT IV. Do you want to know why? Ten weeks of this grading almost one half of those weeks, I didn’t attend my class. I really need to cop up with the topics I’ve missed, and as the second grading is about to end, I know I’ve done it.

Tag attributes, seven different exers or our activities, HTML Documents and what really make me challenged are the six blogs, God! I really don’t know what to do. It might not be simple in plain view but I guarantee it is a gigantic task to totally know how it really works. In the first place, I wondered so much like why there are brackets, the greater than, less than symbols and what so ever, and I asked myself what are these things I’m putting on a file?  I was laughing to myself, I’m out of their world, I felt the word “IGNORANCE”! Shame!

Days are fast approaching two more grading periods and I for now began to appreciate them little by little. As a matter of reality, I even enjoyed those superb experiences then, because every press of the keyboard and every character, symbols appearing in the monitor mark that a certain and alluring result would follow. I know it is just a matter of time and surely I will able to master everything and I never thought I could slightly call it simple. Owing to the activities I have encountered and the yearnings my teachers had given, my problems and troubles were resolved.

My hardships and troubles in the past have yet again. I do hope it will bring me a very fruitful, significant result. I know that it is so early to thank my dear teachers, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz and of course Ma’am Melany Queyquep, even in a short time, thier patience and efforts for giving me a satisfactory knowledge about the topics, it is again another page of my journey in this subject which is filled with nothing but knowledge. To tell you frankly, I never expect that the internet could hole deeper than I know but I was wrong.

English Proficiency

We all know that English these days is considered as the universal language; for which it is understood by almost all countries around the world. It is used by most people as their subsequent language. Obviously, it is a way of communication in industry, conference & particularly in academics. It plays a significant role in the vital teaching, mostly to verbal communication and writing. English proficiency must be an additional skill, it is really important. As a matter of fact, our country needs to fabricate awareness, companionship and work in partnership with other countries as well. It is the government’s responsibility to provide good inferiority of education to be able to work and communicate in a wider and bloodthirsty world.

English proficiency pertains to the ability to speak, read and write in English. To be considered as truthfully skillful or proficient, we should have an advanced, sophisticated skill in this. We know that English is the universal language, to communicate to those people in other countries. We all know that recently that Philippines is known for being English proficient of its citizen. As we observed our ancestors they are fluent in English, I always asked myself about it, it seemed that they are better than today’s generation, SHAME!

Being proficient in English is really important. It also has its advantages in our lives that we may use wherever we go. And one of the importance’s of English proficiency is the ways to Improving Writing Skill. Study writing principles and techniques. We need to be English proficient for higher standards, for better life.

Scientricity: Science & Electricity

This September 2012, the Science Club never fails to come up with an inimitable theme every year. It is really an organization full of inquisitive and imaginative minds. "Scientricity", I didn't understand it all, but I think it is composed of two words which are Science and Electricity; I admit I really tried to refer to encyclopedias, dictionaries and even searched on google and yahoo.

There is no permanent in this world, there is still those changes. It is a fact that we are all tackling every day. This is the one of the main reasons why science was born; to answer the questions of all mankind and be the groundwork of better learning’s. Science paved the technique for us to know the existence of energy and electricity. Energy and Electricity; is every important in our daily lives, it is being utilized every day; it is crafted by science and man. And indeed, it was a made by man and science but also deteriorated by them. Science became too complicated while humans became too insatiable and gluttonous.

Unity is what we need, it has the greatest responsibility in Science Clubbing; everyone is needed for our own betterment. We, humans must again bond with science to fasten what have gone incorrect. Yes, it is really the right time to be active and face the dilemma.  Everyone is really important; everyone has his or her own capabilities, their own involvement in the development of the human race.

Teacher, always a hero!

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth."

In my 15th year of existence in this world almost all of those years, I was with them. Throughout my life I have been educated by a number, letters of teachers, all of whom have had some form of influence on me whether it is positive or negative. However, through this intellectual journey I have discovered many qualities that have distinguished these great teachers from the rest.

Teachers have the very significant responsibility of shaping the life of young, vulnerable offspring.  They open up our young minds. Taught us different things that we may bring upon achieving our goals with this responsibility comes great pride and joy. Therefore all teachers should strive for what can be considered to be a “good teacher.” A good teacher can be defined as someone who always pushes students to want to do their best while at the same time trying to make learning interesting as well as creative. A positive or negative influence from a teacher early on in life can have a great effect on the life of a child.
They show qualities such as patience, kindness, flexibility, resourcefulness, tolerance and open-mindedness. They also have a good sense of humor and are honest, humble, and enthusiastic and most importantly enjoy teaching. A great teacher always smiles to their students and dedicates their selves to the job. One special quality that I have most often found in a great teacher is that they are able to be my friend. I do not know anyone better to trust and gain knowledge from than a friend. A friend is often a person that you remember for the rest of your life. However, I also believe that there must remain a balance between representing an authority or a friend so that the student shows respect. Some of the best teachers that I have been taught by have shown almost like a motherly or fatherly love towards their students. This attribute, in particular, is something that makes a really great teacher. Whenever I just needed to talk to her she made herself available and that made me feel like she really cared about me and that my feelings mattered to her. For me, a good teacher is someone who teaches not only with their mind but also with their heart. This is a person who truly cares about his/her pupils and their interests, wishes and feelings and is also someone that a student can confide in times of sadness or of joy. It is great for a teacher to be able to get to know each one of his/her students personally in order to help them with their problems.

Aside from representing kindness and love, great teachers can find the right way of teaching between their passion for the subject and the interests of the class. This is the type of teacher who is able to challenge students to become all that they can be which, in turn, helps to build confidence and self-esteem in students. They are not only able to teach textbook materials but also the truth about what is happening outside in the real world.

There are many qualities that distinguish one teacher from another. However, each individual has his or her own opinion of what a great teacher is to them. For me, those qualities are a passion for teaching, being able to form a friendship with students as well as caring for them. I believe that education does not continue after school but continues throughout life and I am sure that throughout my life I will come across many more great teachers. And for now and forever I just want to express my sincerest gratitude to all those teachers in this world, I salute you, thank you for everything!

Treasure it, It’s our own!

“Language shapes the way we think, and determines what we can think about.”

The essential benefit for every nation is to have something certainly called as its own.  These are certain aspects that would signify the importance of the status upon reaching the peak of its success. This thing would probably one of the most important  within the country and that is the language we are used to, for it’s a high possibility that once a nation has its own words to us to swollen it with pride, the people within this nation will surely rise up and be acknowledged.

The Philippines is unquestionably quite known around the world, not only for the recognition and tribute certain persons brought back in the ancient times, not just because of the beautiful sites but the undying efforts of common citizens as well.  Our own language is very important to us, it maintains a good flow of communication in our nation, and because of using it, and we can also show our love for our own country.

Filipinos has their dreams to be recognized by the other country or even in the whole world as impressive so significant.   They say that, this would only be a reality if the citizens would know their equitable place and would be able to fulfill their given task and responsibilities as treasured inhabitants of this country.  Obviously, as the “Buwan ng Wika”, celebrated in the month of August, with the theme “Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagkapilipino”, it would be a nice start for the Filipinos to strengthen our truthful nation through the essential benefit a nation would desire for and that is its own words; our ow, our treasure, it’s the “Wikang Filipino”.
